This 1000L 304 stainless steel square drum is built for bulk storage and transport of diesel, solvents, and industrial chemicals. Unlike round drums, the square shape maximizes space inside shipping containers. External dimensions are 1150×1150×1170mm – stackable and container‑friendly.

Safety features include a 400mm manhole, a 150mm manual vent valve, and a DN50 bottom outlet. The 304 stainless steel liner is corrosion‑resistant and easy to clean. For food‑grade use, we can mirror‑polish the interior (Ra ≤ 0.8μm). Explosion‑proof construction is available. Optional upgrades include a removable frame, integrally stamped liner, or 316 stainless steel for aggressive chemicals.

Construction & Material

The inner liner is 304 stainless steel. Square shape allows tight packing: four drums fit exactly on a standard 1150×1150mm pallet. You can order standard welded construction or integrally stamped (one‑piece) which has fewer weld seams and a smoother interior. The outer frame is also 304 stainless steel. For highly corrosive contents, upgrade to 316 stainless steel liner or frame, or add a plastic liner inside the 304 frame.

Manhole & Access

The 400mm manhole is large enough for an operator to climb inside for thorough cleaning or inspection. The cover seals with a gasket and clamps. If you don’t need this large access, we can supply a smaller threaded lid, but the standard is 400mm for versatility.

Vent Valve

The 150mm manual vent valve is simple and reliable: twist to open, release pressure, then close. For automatic pressure relief, we can replace it with an auto‑vent that opens at a preset pressure.

Bottom Outlet

The DN50 (2‑inch) ball valve is made of stainless steel with PTFE seals, compatible with diesel, solvents, edible oils, and many industrial chemicals. For higher flow, a DN80 ball valve or butterfly valve is available.

Frame & Handling

The standard frame is welded to the liner. For customers who need to remove the liner for separate transport or replacement, a detachable frame is optional. Both frame types have four‑way forklift pockets. The drum has no casters and is not meant to be rolled; only lifted by forklift or pallet jack.

Testing & Documentation

Each drum is pressure‑tested before shipment. We provide 3.1 material certificates for the 304 stainless steel, a weld map, and a pressure test report. UN certification for dangerous goods is available on request.
